ABOUT GEORGIA COPPER

A copper company for radio people, by radio people.

Georgia Copper LLC is located in Cleveland, Georgia, USA. We've been serving online customers since 2007. Gary Smith, the owner of our company, has over 30 years experience in the broadcast industry, having installed, repaired, and upgraded many transmitter site ground systems along the way. Gary is also a licensed ham radio operator who can relate to the needs of the amateur radio community.

We specialize in copper strap for high performance ground systems and radio frequency applications, stocking widths from 0.5 to 6 inches. We stock copper that is 0.012, 0.022, and 0.032 inch thickness. All of our copper strap is 99.9% pure copper that is annealed soft.

Our copper is used by radio and television broadcasters, two-way radio services, 911 call centers, data centers, research facilities, the military, and more. Our copper is out there doing its job in places ranging from the tallest building in New York City to radio stations in Guam.

Most of our products are made in the USA. We avoid Chinese-made products whenever possible. Our strap, wire, and braid are all made in US mills. However, one mill that we depend on has now opened additional plants abroad, and another sources its raw material "globally" to insure a steady supply. One US manufacturer, well-known to anyone in radio communications, just recently started making its "strap clamp" in China. We still stock the clamp, but we have a US-made alternative in stock as well. Our ground bars are made in the USA. Most of our hardware and clamps are made in the USA (with a few exceptions).

We have the BEST shipping department! Most products are shipped within 1 or 2 business days of order. Whenever possible we ship the same day. Our two standard shipping methods are UPS ground and Priority Mail, but we'll be glad to expedite your order using UPS 2nd-Day-Air or UPS Next-Day-Air upon request. Heck, we'll even ship FedEx!

When it comes to proper packaging, Stephen, our shipping manager, goes above and beyond. We know that boxes in transit are not going to be handled as gently as we'd like, so we package every order as though it will be dropped a few times, tossed around, and maybe even "run-over" (yes, it actually happened once). Thank you Stephen for the outstanding packaging quality that comes from your department!

Well, what else is there to say? We believe you'll be pleased with our products and the quality of our service. We look forward to supplying copper for your next grounding project! YOUR FRIENDS AT GEORGIA COPPER
